(a) This section may be cited as schedule 4.

(b) There shall be no parking on school days when school is in session from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, on the streets listed below, namely:

(c) Residents of the streets set forth in subsection (b) above are permitted to park their vehicles on the street between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, when school is in session only if they are properly possessed of and display the appropriate parking permit issued by the St. John Police Department.

(d) Residents of the streets set forth in subsection (b) above must provide vehicle ownership proof to the Town of St. John Police Department by way of registration and/or title documentation for any vehicles they own or lease and are registered at the addresses set forth above, for any vehicles registered to businesses they own, and for any vehicles that are registered to businesses for which they are employed before the Town of St. John Police Department will issue a parking permit for such vehicles. Only vehicles registered as set forth above shall be issued a parking permit.

(e) Notwithstanding anything in this section to the contrary, however, business or commercial vehicles shall be exempted from this section and may be parked on the streets and locations set forth above when necessary for the performance of commercial, professional, or business services at the stated locations. It is intended that construction vehicles and construction workers also be exempted while engaged in construction work on site.
