Sec. 13-41. Speed limits, generally.
(a) Thirty (30) MPH Speed Limits. A person may not drive a vehicle in the Town in excess of the maximum speed limit of thirty (30) miles per hour, as established by IC 9-21-5-2, on the following local streets and highways within the Town:

(b) Twenty-Five (25) MPH Speed Limits. Excepting the streets identified in subsection (a) above, the proper maximum speed of a vehicle traveling on all local streets and highways within the Town is twenty-five (25) miles per hour, as authorized by IC 9-21-5-6. When appropriate signs are erected, twenty-five (25) mph is the maximum speed that a vehicle may be driven on local streets in the Town, and no person may drive a vehicle at a speed greater than that posted.
