(a) Certain civilian employees are required to be on call on a weekly rotating basis as directed by the department head.

(b) Employees serving on call will be paid an on-call stipend of a two (2) hour minimum, in accordance with department policy of early dismissal of work on the final day of on call, provided the employee fulfills an entire week of remaining on call.

(c) Employees are not eligible for paid leave while on call. It shall be the responsibility of the supervisor to ensure that employees with approved paid leave requests are not scheduled for on-call duty.
