Sec. 17-58. Imposition of fiscal study costs.

A private landowner, or group of landowners, who petitions the Town of St. John for annexation under IC 36-4-3-5 or 36-4-3-5.1 shall be responsible for payment of the costs associated with developing the written fiscal plan required under IC 36-4-3-3.1.
(a) For any petition which involves less than three (3) acres of land, no cost will be assessed against the petitioner(s) for the fiscal study;
(b) For any petition which involves more than three (3) acres of land, it will be at the discretion of the Town Council whether such costs will be assessed against the petitioner(s) for the fiscal study.
