The general responsibilities of the committee shall be to establish a broad overview of the development of the Town, particularly as it relates to zoning and land use, commercial and industrial development, types of businesses to recruit, types of housing developments, and recreational facilities, and then make recommendations to the appropriate town Boards and Commissions and the Town Council to enable those official bodies to exercise their authority as it relates to those recommendations.
