Sec. 2-13. Longevity pay program.
This section is included in your selections.
(a) Full-time employees shall be paid longevity compensation in the month of December of every year.
(b) The longevity pay shall be calculated with each employee receiving one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00) for each full year of service up to twenty (20) years of service. After twenty (20) years of service, each employee shall be paid a longevity pay of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00).
(c) The longevity pay is to be paid out according to each employee’s current fund allocation as described in Ordinance No. 1747, the 2022 Salary Ordinance, as amended.
