Sec. 2-42. Payment of dues in certain organizations.
This section is included in your selections.
The Town is hereby authorized to use funds from the general fund heretofore appropriated and budget to pay the expenses of membership and costs of belonging to the following organizations:
(1) Northwest Indiana Trustees Roundtable;
(2) Indiana Vehicle Theft Association;
(3) Indiana Association of Chiefs of Police;
(4) Lake County Law Enforcement Council;
(5) American Water Works Association;
(6) Northwestern Indiana Council of Towns and Smaller Cities;
(7) Indiana League of Municipal Clerks and Treasurers;
(8) Indiana Association of Cities and Towns;
(9) International Institute of Municipal Clerks;
(10) Indiana Parks and Recreation Association;
(11) National Recreation and Parks Association.
