(a) All low voltage installations in the Town shall be installed in accordance with the Indiana Electrical Code.

(b) No person shall install any low voltage circuits or equipment for use as signaling, communications, or control until a permit from the electrical inspection department has been issued.

(c) Only those persons licensed by the Town shall install in a public place, or for others, any low voltage communications, signaling or control equipment. Persons installing such equipment in any hall, building, ballrooms, or other occupancies used or rented by the general public shall be employed by or under the direct supervision of a licensed electrical contractor. All low voltage systems and installations shall be clearly marked and dated by the installer.
