(a) Work must be started and have received an approved foundation inspection within three (3) months of permit issuance.

(b) An issued permit is valid for a period of one (1) year from date of issuance. All work must be substantially completed within the one (1) year period, or the permit shall be required to be renewed.

(c) Exception: Pool permits are valid for ninety (90) days. All required fencing, or automatic pool cover in the case of an in-ground pool, shall be required to be fully executed, installed and approved once the pool installation is complete. Temporary fencing must be in place during construction of the pool. In the event of noncompliance, the penalty and remedial provisions of this code, as amended from time to time, shall apply.
